Merry Xmas from here! I just want to say that I've been on this site for only six months or so and I am glad to have met so many good people. So here we are, playing Santa for the very first time with our young son in his bed asleep, completely unaware, and the wife and I are thoroughly overwhelmed by the kindness and love of our family and friends. There is barely any room to walk from the gifts from our friends and family to our son.
Why is it the older I get the more emotional I get? I've cried more in the last year than I did my first 25....

Nice....thanks from Mark and Kimmy in Atlanta....just think, the winter solstice has begun, and we're on our way to spring time...it's all down hill from here, the next season is SPRING!!!! My bike is down for front AND rear tires and an oil change, but she will be ready, newly modified pipes, jets, a....Merry Christmas from ours to yours....

Guys..this is Kimmy. (sorry..too many mixed drinks and too lazy to switch screen names). I just wanted to say Blessed and VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS to everyone here. Brad, Mark and I are enjoying being santa for Amber. We're really lucky that our 15 year old really took the turn from getting Santa so well and actually enjoys participating in being Santa for his sister. It made for a wonderful transition into being a young man for him. All issues aside, we've been blessed and wish all of you blessings and good, safe tidings as well.

My guess is that we open our eyes and begin to see the blessings the older we get. Or it could be that the blessings you receive as a younger fella are more in the line of just keeping you safe. Have you ever sat around with some of your old running buddies and really listened to the stories being told - kinda scary/amazing in my case. Or, maybe its having a wonderful family, a son and another one on the way.
