I've been waiting for this since shots of Heath Ledger were released showing him as the Joker. Nothing says crazy like taking a knife and carving a smile into your own face.
The early Batman films were good under director Tim Burton but when Schumakker took over for the last two they were complete crap. The only thing he knew of Batman was from the '60s tv show.
Batman Begins took a big chunk of ideas from some of the actual comics and that showed what the Batman could be, not a neon wrapped, nipple-armoured quip thrower.
