The best solution is get rid of the straps and go with a side mount system - K-drive or Easy Brackets. In either case, you may want to add a piece of plexiglass or lucite inside each bag to spread the stress and keep the mounts from pulling through the bags.

And I agree with the others above.... the Triumph bags aren't worth the money
