Just curious if anyone around here knows a good (and relatively inexpensive) place to get some chrome spikes to dress up the bike a little. I'm looking for some that I can use to replace some of the factory bolts on the bike with.

what bolts are you looking to replace? There are a few places that make covers for the bolts that a spike in shape.

Maybe the bolts where I put the solo seat finishers, some of the engine covers, or even the bolts on the fender. I don't really know for sure. Haven't looked to closely at it yet, but I saw a picture of some online and thought they might look cool. Bolt covers might be the way to go on some of them.

Stewart (who owns SRS Chrome) is always on the look-out for new ideas. He'll probably log in here at some point to see this thread but he's a busy man and might not be round for a while. Why don't you leave him some feedback on his website or a private message through here (his handle's SRS) and give him some of your ideas.

Look for colony pike nuts available in all sizes. I've used loads of these over the years. Careful though, it's easy to go overboard and rapidly approach Liberachi(sp.?). Good luck
