I saw this on tv the other night. I wasn't sure what I was seeing as I was recovering from jet lag after my lengthy trip to SE Asia. This is a great and very creative ad...by Harley-Davidson. Imagine if Triumph ever did something like this!

H-D "Bad Harley Davidson Santa" Christmas Video Ad 2007

What a cool ad! I just wish Triumph would come up with something creative like this.

Happy Holidays from the great Pacific NW! Boy was it chilly riding yesterday, only a few degrees above the freezing mark. But the sun was great!

Steve

PS: Here's the link to the ad on the H-D USA website. It's a little clearer there. Bad H-D Santa video from H-D website

Certainly different, but surely Triumph would have a "Good List" not a "Naughty List".

I agree, cool ad. Merry Christmas to all from here in the north east too and it's cold here too.

Okay, just more Harley hype. Am I the only one that finds the whole badazz angle tedious? Brilliant campaign mind you, appeal to the lowest common denominator... some feeble-minded dweeb that now owns a pair because he got himself a hog.
By the way, my surliness has been brought about by negotiationg the masses for the better part of the day trying to stock up on groceries and rock salt, cell phone talkin' SUV Sally that can't grasp the concept of a left turn arrow let alone turn signals. Those that think sitting square in the middle of the traffic lanes in a parking lot while waiting for someone, anyone to leave so that they may park 4 foot closer to the store entrance, those that think no rules or common decency applies to them.... blah blah blah. Okay, I feel better now, going to go de-ice the walk and the driveway, pour myself a Scotch (just bought me the good kind as a reward for not maiming anyone) and fry up some of that fresh chicken and make me up some mashed taters and gravy. Carry on.......

No Steve. You're not the only one who feels this way. I too think the "Bad Azz" thing is kind o' stupid!

But unfortunately, I can't chalk up my "surliness" for any need of rock salt and/or any ensuing battle for a convenient parking space against those very same cell phone whielding SUV Sallys out there in any efforts to retrieve this particular compound.

You see, yesterday I played tennis out here in L.A. in 70 degree weather!

(MY "surliness" just comes naturally, dude!)

Yep! Just like a good Single Malt Scotch, you might call me "an acquired taste" TOO.(among the many OTHER things you may care to call me, of course)

I too think the "bad azz" attitude is a stupid facade by Hardley. It just brings me to a point. This guy at work was downstairs in the smoking area, decked out in his Hardley boots, Hardley shirt and Hardley jacket. Mind you, he is the geekiest person in our building, one that would run at the sight of his shadow, and he's talking and bashing every motorcycle manufacturer except Hardley. He rides a 2002 Hardley Sportster 883. I just had enough and told him that I hope he enjoys his chick bike and his 34 horses....LOL
