So my wife and I are watching the Futurama Movie on DVD a few minutes ago (or more correctly, rewatching the beginning few minutes) and there is a scene with an ambulance. She kind of smirks at the TV and asks "Why is ambulance spelled backwards?"
And I say, it's so you can read it correctly when you see them in your rear view mirror. I say it kind of smart assy since I can't believe she's being serious. Well, she was. She didn't believe me at all and thought I was full of sh*t.
With a little help from google images, I was proven right. Maybe the first time in our marriage that I was actually able prove to her she was wrong on something. lol.
In 35 years, she's never noticed that Ambulance is spelled backwards on the front of one.
