WooHoo!!! Got to bring her home today (in the very fast blue and white)! After the VERY impressive stall leaving the dealership parking lot, things went a LOT smoother.

Got to meet BA's very own Chy and a lot of other nice folks. Looking forward to joining the RAT and seeing more of our lovely, if very dry state.

Congrats on your new ride and the very impressive stall. Blue and white ARE the colours of fast, just don't go too fast.

Ride her safe and enjoy every minute of it. My blue/white TBA baby has over 2300 miles and I've only had her since late July. During that time, I've been gone on several lengthy trips. These bikes are so much fun to ride.

Wish there was a way that I could send some rain from the Pacific NW to y'all in the Southeast.

Welcome! You not only have the finest ride but also the finest Triumph technician! Over time, I am sure you will call him a friend, if not already.

You are blessed!!!

You've obviously decided she's female, now she needs a name.

Oh dear, now starts the endless procession of accessories and performance modifications. LET THE SPENDING BEGIN!

The enjoyment of riding a Triumph never seems to wear off so, you are looking at several years of days just like this one.

By the way, while the blue/white ones are pretty, there is a reason they call it JET BLACK!

I have named her "Vera Lynn", after another English lady with a set of pipes who greatly improved morale. Also, after putting down my deposit we "met again some sunny day" so it now seems doubly appropriate.

Thomas, first off congrats on the new scoot! And "B" where in Georgia are you? I live in Lawrenceville and only about forty five minutes from Chy and God's country. Also I gotta agree with Ryan, they don't make em much better than Chy and Di, good folks and a heck of a mechanic...ride safe...Gordon

Gordon,

Very cool. I am in L'ville as well, near the new traffic circle at Arnold and Hutchins.

I shopped dealers as well as bikes and I have been very happy with both choices so far.

Drop me a note and perhaps we can grab a cup of coffee or something.

Thom

A picture of her in the driveway. I have since cleared the leaves so she has a clear run into the garage (not that she will spend much time there).

Oh-uh. I know a little black lady down in Merritt Island with 60k on her that just rolled over in her garage.

Uh-oh?, I did a search of this site and Triumphrat.net at the end of November before I settled on the name. Then I saw mention of it in the calendar thread the other day and was concerned, since I had not brought mine home yet. Hope this is not bad bike-Karma, but once given not sure a name can be taken back.

Yup, another satisfied Machines in Motion customer. You couldn't have bought from a better dealer.

And Chy---the greatest!

When I had my 07 America in for new Bubs and rejetting, Chy hadn't finished puting the carb pre-heater wires back on and went home for the day. He didn't know I was coming to get the bike that evening. So the next day he calls me at home, feeling really bad about it---and wanted directions to my house. He came all the way to Cleveland just to put two little plugs back on the carbs---about a 10 second project. You can't get better service than that!

Congrats on the new bike, hope to meet you at the RAT meetings & some rides.

Don.

you'll love it even more when on the onethousandsixhundredsixtyfifth

enamoured with your machine as you were the day
you brought herhimit home.
