If you added LEDs you'll need to use a flasher unit that incorporates a load equalizer. If my memory is correct our bikes use a european 24v lamp so if you added 12v lamps that might account for a drop in resistance and a faster flash rate. I also remember reading that our stock lamps are stock items at Walmart (of all places) so maybe just replacing the lamps in your new signal housings will be the easiest answer.
