Yep! Just like a good Single Malt Scotch, you might call me "an acquired taste" TOO.(among the many OTHER things you may care to call me, of course)

And NOW, after this "obviously impartial"(yeah sure) West Virginia officialing crew called not one, but TWO, phantom holding calls against Pitt on crucial plays in his game, they called an unsportsmans-like call against Pitt after this one Pitt defensive player only raised his arms in celebration after stopping the OVERRRANKED W.V. team on 4th and long near the end of this game!!!

(now I'm not a Pitt fan AT ALL, but these zebras on that field SHOULD NEVER be allowed to officate a game ANYWHERE, EVER AGAIN!!!)

Well, despite the "best efforts" from the officials, Pitt pulled it off anyway.....

Pitt-13
W.V.-7

And speaking of rankings....

HOW the HECK is a No.1 ranked team(Missouri) an UNDERDOG to a No.9 ranked team(Oklahoma) before they even start the friggin' game????

Yep! Ya gotta hand it to the B.C.S. alright?!

(them there dudes...err...them there dude's COMPUTERS sure are "a wonder", huh?!)

Ya know what?! I say...LET THE NCAA FOOTBALL PLAYOFF SYSTEM BEGIN!!!!

What?! You think those "scholars" out there on the gridiron will get behind in their studies or somethin' if that happens?!

Oh, come on! These guys couldn't write a decent thesis if they cracked the books between each and every play during practice AND during the games!!!

START A PLAYOFF SYSTEM!!!! NOW!!!!!

Dude are you serious? Oklahoma was favored because they play tougher teams than Missouri does, and it showed tonight. They're favored because people that take bets on football know Oklahoma is the better team. I do agree we need a playoff system in place. Oh, and West Virginia is totally over ranked, I agree with you on that too.

Dwight Argo?

Yeah, I knew him.

Rather excitable, but a decent sort.

Then he retired.

Dunno what happened then.

Heard he used to rant at his TV, and talk to his 'puter. Mutterin' kinda ya know.
Neighbors called the cops a few times.
Said he would wander around the streets arguing with someone who wasn't there.

Yep.

Ol' Dwight.

Up on the roof with a magnum you say?

Hmmmmmmm. Too bad. yup.

Yep! That WAS "a bit" of a rant there, wasn't it Bill?!

(but then again...did you SEE what passed for "officiating" in that game, dude???)

Shhhhhhh Bill, please don't excite the patients. Why doesn't nurse Ratched answer her buzzer?

"I got stripes, stripes upon my shoulders
I got whistles, whistles in my mouth
I make calls, calls that never happened
And that Dwight, that Dwight, he's going to rant on me"

Apologies and all due respect to Johnny Cash

Can we get Hawaii and Oklahoma in a Bowl game?

I would love to see the WAC do it to OK again in the post- season.

Undefeated,11-0 (12-0 now), and still can't crack the Top 10?

They still have something to proove.....
