I have only heard of this happening twice.
the first time was using the Valvoline semi-synthetic oil - wouldn't handle it, swapped to a different brand, no more slippy.
The second time is with Jojje, the wild Swede with the turbo Bonnie. he has machined his original basket out just enough to handle one more friction and one more pressure plate. he has some detailed destructions on his site somewhere, no link, sorry.
Other then that, give Barnett a call first and see if there are beefier springs, I know that BC and BP use some other ones, something about a Honda Fireblade comes to mind...
