I finaly gotthe part in from Bike Bandit today for the Suzuki DR650 today.. The Dr650 is a street legal dirt bike,, so like any good tech I had to take it for a test ride.. I ride it put some fuel in it bring it back to the shop call the customer and let him know its readyt for pick up..He tells me it has not been driven in like 5 years, go beat on it make sure nothing else might be wrong. Me willin g to go above and beyond to please my customers I take her for a spin. But not just any spin.. I go to pull out the shop and remember the feild next door.. Hum, beat on it he said.. SO drop it into first, give it some gas pop the clutch and head off on one wheel.. hit the dirt and proceed to rip it up.. I have not ridden a dirt bike since the accident that took me out of racing pro so many years ago.. Man what I blast. Jumping hills, slidding turns, shooting some roost.. All the good stuff. I guess I got carried away, cause befor I knew it it was 9pm and I had been playing for over 2 hours lol.. But man WHAT A BLAST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm envious, I used to love to ride in the dirt. Never anything like you describe just fun stuff. But I haven't done that in at least 20 years probably more like 25.

I used to ride a Yamaha 360 enduro so heavy isn't a problem! LOL I loved that bike. It was the same as a 400 except a shorter stroke. Had all kinds of torque. It was either a 74 or 76 not exactly sure anymore but I think 74.

Memories of my Can-Am 175 2-stoke-bluesmoke from years ago. Scared myself every time I rode it, and LOVED it.

Women and cats will do as they please. Men and dogs should just get used to that fact and relax

2 years ago I raced Keith Johnson's (National Mxer) KTM 520 which was big bored to a 540 at Central Village MX track in Connecticut. Talk about a beast! I 3rd gear started and wheelied down the entire start straight and when I looked back, I had to be about 150' ahead of the entire rest of the pack. That bike was INSANE, but handled like a KTM. I lead the race up until the thing stood up in a turn and I highsided over the berm. It took me about 2 minutes to fire it back up and go. But, what fun while it lasted!
My Honda CRF 450 is so well mannered and is probably THE best bike I have ever ridden. I could easily woods ride with it as well as race MX/SX with it. The craziest bike I ever rode though was an ATK 700 Intimidator. 2 stroke. Don't want to be "whiskey-throttling" on that thing. It will launch you into the stratosphere.

What your saying is .... it's fixed!

I often think about adding a cheapo enduro bike to the stable to have a little fun with.... it's been too long.
