Do you know if the forks are chrome undernerath the shrouds? I have thought it would look cool with the shrouds removed. Thinking it would be a good winter project.

Yes the forks are chrome under the shrouds, but without them the bottom tripple tree looks too big for my taste. I wound up poslishing the shrouds and putting them back on. You might like the look. My Harley friend is still giving me crap for putting them back.
