SalMaglie - A large drill bit, I forget the size, cut right through the aluminum. Also had to use a 1" S&D bit to cut out a 1/2" deep recess for the collar on the risers. Had to also buy shorter bolts.
Do you know if the forks are chrome undernerath the shrouds? I have thought it would look cool with the shrouds removed. Thinking it would be a good winter project.
