Greetings from an undisclosed location. Representing the "colors" somewhere in the middle east, wrenching on things a little faster. The '07 riding season's been over for me since early October.

Plan to return to my baby sometime in January and hope for a brief warm spell on the east coast.

Regards,

Tom

Great pics. I'm surprised you're allowed a camera in there?
Be safe indeed.

Great shots Tom!!! I hope you were able to celebrate Thanksgiving at your undesclosed location I love those Stealth F-111's. Tell me that isn't an updated U-2. I never understood why they shelved the SR-7 Blackbird, The fastest Aircraft in the world, but maybe that's classified

Nice! Stay cool, watch out for that "bottle rocket" noise (though upon reflection, where your birds would be kept you don't have to worry about that?), and good luck. You should be able to buy a bunch of new toys for your baby when you get back, too

Oh and love the uniform too, lucky git :P

Gotta love the smile on your face, what great machine to wrench upon! My family thanks you.

May very well have to do with the use of the unmanned Recon flights now used in Iraq and Afghanistan. Let's face it, lose either(manned or unmanned Recce flights)over "unfriendly" territory, and it's embarrassing to say the least. But at least with a remote control drone, there's no worries about the pilot falling into enemy hands, undergoing torture, being forced to sign ridiculous admissions of guilt (which no one buys anyhow) and so on. But, I agree, the SR-71 is still an AWESOME plane...
