In the last 2 ½ years I’ve replaced the upper bulb in my speedometer twice. It’s pretty easy. You first remove the trip-reset knob. It’s held in by a small screw, which can be accessed through the end of the knob. Next remove the 2 screws, which hold the speedometer cable. There is one more screw near the speedometer cable, which holds the speedometer in its cup. You can now pull the speedometer out far enough to reach the light bulb. I’ve got an exploded view of the speedometer in a word document. If you want a copy let me know and I’ll email it to you.
