I have another quick question about the Tbike pipes. Is is necessary to use Gasket Sealer when putting the pipes on? I read someone did that in an ealier post. I was just wondering if it was a common thing or not. If it is recommended, it would need to be a high temp gasket sealer and I was wondering if there was a particular brand that was recommended.

i've heard from a few who didn't use it. But i would say why not? If it leaks it may sound nasty or change the pipe's performance negitivly. Maybe, maybe not, but why not just do it? All you have to do is go to Kragen or any auto parts store and get the red RTV (or whatever those initials are..RTV, RVC, something like that) silicone gasket sealer. It's readily available and about $5-6 a tube. At first i didn't know if it could handle the heat till i went to a bike shop that really knows thier $hit and asked. they told me thats what they use and it's fine. they said that at the header/pipe joint the temps are nowhere near as high as the header/cylinder joint and the red stuff is all you need. So i used it and it's fine as said.
