Anybody ever had a wild turkey? I think that's my next Thanksgiving goal after this year's turducken.

Both the liquor and the game bird. The game bird left a better aftertaste. Another Turducken here, wanted an Herbert's Specialties but got a Cajun Market as dictated by SWMBO but, hey, she's doing the cooking so who am I to complain? The shrimp and crawdad stuffing sounds like it ought to be pretty good...have a Happy Thanskgiving everyone.

We have wild turkeys here in my yard all the time....but, as far as i'm concerned this is their little sanctuary away from the bullets. I've seen many and some with their chicks right in my front and backyard. One time, saw one of the chicks riding on the back of it's mother. Pretty cool.

I also see many deer in the yard and have seen a couple mountain lions and a couple bobcats here. We have some resident roadrunners which show up here quite often, too. (pretty rare to see these birds). Got lots of pics of the roadrunners, turkeys and deer.
