I'm seriously split on this one. I believe that if your life (or your family's, or someone else's) is in danger, and you can alleviate the situation, then by all means - Do So. If that results in the aggressors demise - Oh Freakin Well, They shouldn't have been such animals in the first place. HOWEVER, no one's life was in danger that day in Texas. A television isn't worth someone's life. I think the guy will probably go to jail for quite some time for manslaughter. What makes it worse is that he is ON RECORD saying that he's going to KILL THEM. Never say that you are going to kill someone before the fact. Repeat after me "Officer, I'm going to apprehend the misguided gentlemen with a citizens arrest".
Crime is getting way out of hand. My Homeland Defense Measures are a .45 cal EAA Witness and a 9mm semi-auto assault rifle. I won't hesitate to protect me & mine, but that guy stepped over the line.
