It is really a pretty easy job. Take your time, do your research ( what jets will suit your needs best). Doing it yourself will not only save you 180 bucks, but i have yet to hear of anyone who did redo or tweak the bike afterwards each bike, local, and dealer will be different. If i spent $180 each time i tweaked i 'd be broke.
either way if you do it or the dealer (Pete's?) have them use the stainless allen screw kit from bellacorse or newbonneville. It is like $6 and the best $6 you'll spend. Also make sure they remove the air/fuel caps on the carbs. These will need to be tweaked with the weather.
