I have a pair of TRIUMPH pants I think they now call the Western Jeans, although I am not sure it is the same material (I saw some TRIUMPH women's pants in the dealer's recently that almost felt like a rubbery outer fabric and was very thin).
Mine are a heavy Cordura, riveted at the stress points, 5-pocket jean style (with the fifth pocket "coin" on the left as it should be), mesh-lined, with the "windproof, waterproof, breathable" membrane between the Cordura and the mesh. Jet Black, they almost look like dress slacks except for the patch (jean style) rear pockets and the rivets. Roomy enough to pull over other jeans, but I tried pulling them over dress slacks once and thought that not the best thing to do (the dress slacks pulls up the leg with the overpant). I have worn them alone in colder weather but think they really are better as overpants.
Wish they had zippers up the lower legs so that I could pull them on or off with my boots on.
It may be my gut, but it is not so easy to put socks on, or tie boot laces with these overpants over my jeans.....
But I like them a lot, and wear them a lot in the Winter season. I usually wash them once a year with NIKWASH prep and waterproofing...makes them real slick against my saddle though.
Makes cold and wind and light rain bearable in any conditions I would ride in.
I think they are only $129.00 U.S.
