never came up against the XLH1200 but the Night Train I have out run more than 1 with different riders. I don't fly by but I do slowly pull away. The one stock one I do pretty much fly by with ease the other 2 are close to me.All 3 are FI models. I have a friend with a 76 Shovel I can't get away from though. But his Shovel has small block Chevy valves, manly keepers, Wiseco 10.5:1 pistons,S&S wheels stroked (can't remember how much) 3 1/2" open belt Revtech trans. among a few other things.
