My firstI later owned a Triumph was 1967, or '69 Scrambler, can't remember for sure. Bought in 1970. I later owned a '69 Bonneville in 1971. Both handled well, leaked oil and were sometimes a challenge to start. Had a kind love/hate relationship with them.
Now have a 2004 Speedmaster purchased in September 2007. No oil leaks any more but still handles pretty well and is much easier to start. Still planning what all I'm gonna do to her over the winter.
