Has anyone got any views on the seat rail.Im running a solo set up and have been offered one for half price.I know its just for show as my ****** is never going to slip off the back of the seat.

of course results will vary but somthing to think about is that a member here told me that the mounting points at the top of the shocks have a tendency to break.
He had his first replaced by triumph and then the second time he had it rewelded if I remember correctly.
I'm sure there are countless examples of this not happening too.

i have had two replaced by triumph , i fixed the first two and will sell the new one unused , the mounting lug is just to thin but they do look good .

My one broke at the shock mounting tab as well, It does seem to vibrate a lot at revs... they replaced it...

mine shows no sign of wear or cracks, its actually pretty solid when bolted up.

Mine cracked, welded and painted, no one knows but me. Looks spiffy! Great for a place to secure bungies for cargo to as well.

Ed..I like mine..it gives me a place to strap on a "bum-bag" and some much needed "bungie-points" when stacking the tent, camp chairs, etc , for a trip....It is definately worth it for half price...
