i was riding in the rain last night, i was wondering how many of you when riding in rain, fell like the bike might slide out from under you? i run avon front and back. is it easy for the bikes to slide out from under you?
If that feeling keeps you on your toes, it's a good thing. Personally I corner like a scaredy-cat in the rain, at least at intersections. There is so much oil there I don't take a chance. If you drop your idle speed down to where it will almost stall, about 900rpm, it increases the engine braking, which I think is safer. If rain really worries you, do rainy practice in an empty lot.
