Yea, i kinda like this feature too. A lot of people dislike it and want to disable it or have it set higher, but i never understood that because all it does is keep you from revving it to the point where it may not be good for it. and considering these bikes develop thier max power below the limiter i see no reason to go above it. Especially the 05 speedmaster like mine which develops max HP at 6500 RPM.

If you happen to really get on it thru the gears it's nice to know you can't accidentaly rev it way above safe limits which for america owners w/o a tach is especially important. Imagine spinning it up with no limiter and all of a sudden hearing a clunk and the engine dies as a rod goes flying thru the case. Not something i wanna experience !
