Not many days left on this auction and I don't know how long the pics will stay up but thought y'all might want to have a gander. Truly one of the most classy and beautiful bobbers I have ever seen.... yes I did and am drooling.
Check it out here

Most definitely. That bike was on my desktop for several months until I just couldn't stand looking at it any longer! I'm curious what it brings. ****** near perfect except for the bolt-on seat mount. I'll be watching & drooling again....

good one, I saw it on the Jockey Journal a few months back. I can't believe people could own and sell things like this.

Lovely.

It's a cool ride, can't tell from the pix but it appears to have the unit construction head. A very good mod since the pre-unit alloy heads tended to crack between the head bolts and valve seats. Also a single carb head, those always seemed to me to run better and easier to maintain.

That is a very nice ride.

Here is the one that Choppahead did. It's good. I think the tanks is too small and sits too high.

I thought the same thing about the knee pads. I am sure there is a triumph tank that would better suit the bike.

But I read somewhere that the owner requested a Sporster tank....not sure if there was any truth to it.

Wow, only $8,100 today with 13 hours to go. Any guesses what it will bring?
I predict: $9,400.
Add doesn't mention splitting the cases for the motor rebuild and no tranny details are given. The buyer could be in for some surprises.
It sure does gleam in pictures.

Any tranny issues are easily fixed. Can totally rebuild one in an afternoon for about $800 in parts. I did my 54 T-110 trans not long ago, replaced everything except the cases and speedo drive.

Winning bid was $9,201
Bad news is the winner is not my wife...it's going to Australia. Wonder what that shipping charge will be? Gotta be at least another $1,500?
