Though I haven't bought anything from them (yet), I'd sure give the FOX CREEK LEATHER folks a shot. No doubt, there is nothing to lose, as they seem to be spot on with customer satisfaction by all accounts.

I don't know how chaps could vary much from one to another - maybe they do. At least FCL's prices are reasonable, and the quality seems to be top notch.
