Bigdog,
I was talking to someone at my dealership who said a 1500 cruiser is due out the summer of 2008. Didn't mention what engine, twin or what.

I'm calling BS on this! Triumph already has the whole cruiser spectrum covered they have a smaller cruiser (america/speedmaster) and a huge cruiser (rocket III) why would they want to screw up an already perfect line up?

Let my dying thought be that every mile was fun and let my tombstone read,"They never made one fast enough for me."

I remember reading in one of the recent motorcycle magazines that Triumph was planning on coming out with a cruiser somewhere between the Rocket & the Bonneville cruisers in terms of size. Don't remember which mag, but I thought they said it would be for 2009.

I will only get one if it has a shaft drive, fuel injection, and the dealer is honest.

Can't anyone do the maths anymore. It has to be either a 1730, or a 1580. The fact is Triumph purchased the rights for the Ariel Square Four motor or a parallel-parallel twin it will be called the Triumph PPT Cruiser
