Regional Outreach Specialist with the MA Dept of Public Health---I develop, implement and evaluate community outreach initiatives designed to get men and women into breast, cervical, prostate cancers and cardiovascular screening and treatment.

Am planning to have had enough someday of advocating for/assisting the downtrodden and disenfranchised....My plan is to run off to the coast of Maine to open a big yellow art barn- studio and gallery space for folks to come and do art and music.
Someday needs to get here quick!

I sell guy ropes to prospective Zepellin buyers......

business a bit slack at the moment.

Used to be a Communication Network Engineer until we were bought up by CSC (Completely Shite Company), then we all became overworked, underpaid, unappreciated, undervalued, unethical clerks battling the shite procedures designed to demoralise, disenfranchise, de-skill and destroy good people and any loyalty to your colleagues, clients and family.

Now I'm retired ! got a big payout from them and took my pension before they implemented 'changes'......

Am I bitter ? NOOOOOOOO

I still have the letter they sent me the day after I was diagnosed with cancer which began...."The best way to keep your job is to get back to work as soon as possible."

A$$holes......

If you do it today you MIGHT regret it. If you CAN'T do it tomorrow you WILL regret it.

I am a Certified Orientation and Mobility Specialist (COMS). I work for the state of Illinois for the School for the Visually Impaired. I teach blind and visually impaired people how to use the cane, cross streets, ride public transportation, etc. I help people travel as safely and independently as possible. It's fun and rewarding most of the time.

Anyhow I am Critcal Care flight medic.. I fly fixed wing for coast to coast critcal patient transports and fly inthe bird for scene call 911 type of stuff. Its a cool job, and some days I can go to work fly to the Bahamas and back.. Other days I sit and play the play station..

I also run a motorcycle repair/ custom shop. We specialize in taking stock bikes and manking them what the customer really wants. Also do some used bike buying and selling.

Maintenance supervisor in a chemical plant. Charged with running job planning and scheduling and managing the computerized maintenance management portion of SAP (PM Module)within the plant. But my heart is where my craft/trade training was and where I should have remained long ago - I have been a meat cutter, a Pipefitter, a heavy equipment operator. Each of those were fun in their own way. What I do and what I've done for the last 15 years just plain sucks by comparison.
