I've heard of that before, but I'm not so sure it's available in Iowa. I'll have to keep an eye out for it as it looks pretty close to Fat Tire.

luckily, i live in the great Beer State of Colorado and Fat Tire is made right up the road in Ft. Collins so you can find it on tap and in liqour stores everywhere!
Also, if you like Fat Tire you should give Moose Drool Ale a try - my new favorite.
Ciao!

Can that really be considered "drinking" Corona is water with a bit of skunk beer flavoring.

Is that Fat Tire from New Belgium Brewing Company? Try their Trippel sometime as well, a triple fermented ale. Not bad at all!

I loved the Fat Tire when I'd visit the great state of CO. Also, enjoyed the Left Handed Sawtooth Ale. Florida lacks good micros....and mountains....

It's the water! Fat Tire is one of my favorites when out west also...and draft Shiner Bock!
later, Tom.
But, what do I know?

Breckenridge Brewery (right next to Coors Field of all places!) in Denver has some good brews too, but I can't give you a name, I was drinking and enjoying more than I was remembering the names! I shall correct that on my next visit.. Strike that, I just checked the site, the ones I had were Summer Bright Ale and Avalanche, both good ales.... But I'll still double check to make sure the taste lives up to my impeccable standards...

do they offer the free, drink as much as you want, taste test after the tour? i know the coors brewery does. I'm heading to the mountains next week and will stop into Denver a few times.

I have to go with anything from Pyramid Brewery here in Seattle. Every beer is sooo good, but if I had to choose one, it would be the Snow Cap. Feel free to check out the site: http://www.pyramidbrew.com/home.php

We have Fat Tire and Corona here in Texas...but we still drink Shiner Bock.

Matt - Fat Tire is also one of my regulars - I like the Tripple as well (someone else here mentioned it), and Sunshine Wheat, and the summer brew Skinny Dip, and also they have a medium dark '1554' which is also very nice! And actually Flagstaff is one of their big parties every fall - they (New Belgium Brewing) do a round of festivals that benefit local cycling (bicycles) every year - called the Tour de Fat! Its a big beer drinking festival and we have one of the biggest - kinda crazy http://www.newbelgium.com/Becky

Fat Tire is a great beer.
One that I have tried recently is Blue Moon Belgian Wheat Ale, and I have to say it is a good tasting beer. Try it if Fat Tire is not available.

Actually just tried Full Moon Winter Ale, really not bad. But Fat Tire is still the numero uno in my book. Becky, that sounds like heaven on earth for me. I'm pretty sure I've tried every New Belgium beer available and I've definitely tried all of the ones you mentioned, all are very, very good.
