I bought my '03 in Sept '04 at the price you are getting. I would do it again, IMHO I got a steal, so you are also. You get to buy a new bike at close to a used price. All that said, I have to finish with the observation: you can not base a real motorcycle purchase on rational parameters. I was lucky, I purchased a motorcycle I intend to keep for a long time.
