Carb pulling is not necessary. Pilot on right sight is easily accesible. I find it easyier to get at it on the left side after disconnecting the two electical leads at the bottom of the carb.
I'm running TOR longs with modified airbox (snorkel removed, hole drilled in bottom of box/air filter and running 3 turns out on the mixture screws to significantly reduce popping. Also have the stock 120 jets. If I feel it's necessary to open the mixture screws anymore, I'll rejet then. So far I'm happy at my elevation.
