Have just replaced my worn out Avon Venom with a Avon Road Rider.110x90x18
It appears to be rubbing in the centre of the mudguard and has finally worn through.
Has anyone encountered the same problem with the Road Rider.
Did not have any probs with the Venom.
The road rider appears to have a very high crown that is touching the inner mudguard.
The only fix I can ssee that will work is to make a new set of brackets about 15mm longer that will move the mudguard out from the tyre.
The mudguard now needs replacing,so be warned if you fit a Avon Road Rider. The old Avon Venom caused no problems at all.
Cheers.

Have seen the same problem with Dumlop 404's.. What I had ot do was tape a length of 3/8 of 10mm OD hose on the tire lay the fender (mud guard) ond make on the bracket where it needs to be trimmed.. Some times tires are difrent from brand to brand, and series to series

Dont like what you see??? Big red X in the top right of your screen will fix it!
