The "hole" for the AuxSocket is in the rear engine mounting plate......look at the cam cove, on the back side a plate off the frame bolts up to the engine....just up from that bolt , maybe an inch , is a hole....I think it is 5/8" or there about in size......it is almost straight down from the front of your seat........it is a good location for the Aux in my opin.
