IF it makes you feel better, I'ce charged mine on the bike... But hmmmm trying to remember... I think it takes some fenagling. If you bike is stock, IE no freak, there's the chrome fake air cleaner, side panel, and battery strap/cover, right? That should do it, but those battery terminal wires are real stiff, so disconnecting them might do the trick.
