I would appreciate any thoughts concerning the proper amount of feel and/or road feedback my stock Speedmaster front springs should give me.

It seems like there is very little road input transfered to my bars and feedback to my hands at freeway speeds above 65 mph. My front (metzler) tire doesn't "feel" planted to the ground well enough (even when I know it is) and it is a little disconcerting to me IMHO.

I think I read something about this subject in a motorcycle magazine when they were comparing the Bonnevilles to another bike.

Would aftermarket front springs increase the road feedback to me? If so, any recomendations? I always ride solo if that makes any difference.

Thanks in advance,
Bob

2003 Speedmaster I won't rise to the occasion, but I'll slide over to it.
