I made the (stupid, stupid, stupid) mistake of leaving the key in the ignition, power on, all night last night.
I removed the seat, the little side panel/"chrome" piece and the battery cover to get to the battery. I planned on removing it to hook it up to the charger and did everything but disconnect the terminals, but the battery seems TOTALLY stuck in one place. I can't get it to wiggle even a little bit. Does anyone have any thoughts on this? Did I miss another point of attachment?
I hooked the charger up to the dead battery without removing it from the bike and I've ordered a new battery from Brent (figured it was time anyway-- '03 TBA / manufacture date of 10/02) just in case the charger doesn't work.
