Not this can of worms again.....

This topic has been hashed rehashed and basically beat to death, but if you are new you have no way of knowing that. Lots of guys got bent out of shape (for no good reason). Let this topic die a quick death....

Well crap.... I couldn't leave well enough alone. There is only one bike amongst us that might pass muster for the brit iron rebel crowd. sporty bars, rear sets, looks like a cafe racer to me....

Now I'm done!

I used to ride and drink with a handful of BIR & a group of Norton riders (can't remember the group acronym maybe DVNR or NOA or NYNOA), and was always a grand time. I agree with their admission policy with not letting cruiser riders in the group.

Clubs have rules. They have guidelines and standards. BIR is not a cruiser club. BA.com is a community, not a club. We don't ban people for what they ride, but maybe based on their behavior.

Those guys went nuts over my Norton. I like my Speedmaster. Their bikes may be fast but I'm still waitin' on their Hooligan movie.
