I don't know whether this is bad or good but, if you look in the harley manuel, they recommend using diesel oil's when harley's brand is not available. They have no warrenty issues with using such oil's as rotella. Personally I think you'd be just as well off and maybe changing at 4000 as oringally suggested by triumph would be a better choice. Im currently using Jersey Joe's Super Slick Stuff, in mine and quite pleased.
