That is true and not true at the same time. I used to try and buy American made but it got increasingly harder over the years and now nearly impossible. I used to pay more for the better quality. Bearings I always looked for Garmany,USA, or UK but now most are Japan or Korea even from names that were made in one of the 3 countries mentioned.I wish it was possible to not shop at Wal Mart but it isn't unless I wanna go broke. I do buy what I can at other stores or if the cost is close I buy elsewhere even if I have to travel farther. I have a big problem with Wal Marts business practices and I believe that is partly to blame for the move to China. When you have a retailer with that much power (that we gave them) that can dictate what they will pay and low ball you so badly that you can't afford to produce in the USA what choice do you have if you want to stay in business?
