I saw on the news it isn't the stuff that sticks them it's the beads themselves. Once ingested they make that drug in the process of being digested. So they really had no way of knowing this unless they tested to see what compounds were made in the act of digesting the beads. Still sucks, still think buying everything from China is a bad idea, still think not buying American is bad etc... But as Ed says you would be hard pressed to find things not at least partly made there. Even Hershey is closing down and moving over seas! We are close to being a 3rd world country and getting closer every day!
