I didn't want to highjack a post I just saw,but I was wondering about custom peg hangers.(Just one more thing to keep the wife happy I guess.) Would they be more comfortable for her on long rides and where can I find some.

There are several options,if she has lon legs you may just want to move the peg from where it is to the bottom hole where the peg hanger mounts and either make or buy a finisher. Or just put something in the upper hole to dress it up. There are several after market suppliers of parts for our bike like Bella Course , Bonneville Performance etc...

We just got these simple peg hangers back from paint/polish. They're Made of the same 3/8" 304 SS as our decorative hangers, so they're very heavy duty. Let me know what you think. http://www.newspeedmaster.com/html/custom_peg_hangers.html

Brent, I think you have something good there, simple and elegant. I'd buy a pair myself if I hadn't already replaced the stock hangers.

I had my rear pegs mounted on the lower, more forward position. My (now) wife actually prefers the stock location because they are more directly under her, so she feels more stable. I think lower would be good, so I may get some drop down brackets sometime. Just something to consider...

Brent,
Nice hangers. Funny thing - I just made a set for my Speedy that look a lot like those. Great Minds, and all that.

Brent. Stand alone, I think those peg hangers are great-I'm into simple things... However, the only way they would work is if the radius of the curve matched that of the fender, otherwise they're not going to relate to anything on the bike. An idea you may want to consider is make them wider, as well as matching the curve, so they appear to extend the fender. Make sense? Just an observation and based purely on what you've put before us. Neill

Hey do these polished hangers have a smooth edge or a serrated one. I suspect the camera caused this effect and they are actually smooth but can anyone confirm this. I have ordered the balck but they are out of stock so Does anybody also have comment on the polished ones or even a few more pics regards Sledge
