So I know HOW to adjust the rear shock, but with what is my question. I used a phillips screwdriver, but it was a little ruff on the hole. The Triumph manual says "insert a suitable tool" - what tool do you guys use? (I know this sounds like I am setting people up for a perverted joke, but I am serious!)

I use the allen hex wrench that fits the snuggest. I know there's a real "official" tool and I know others have just chopped off the end of a suitable phillips. Really, any metal rod that fits snuggly works. A little lube on the shock nubbin and lifting at the fender strut will ease the way.

A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort. Herm Albright (1876 - 1944)

Second the proper Allen wrench fit, don't remember the size, but one fits just perfect.
