This should get a few posts as we all love a good tipple... After reading about somebody's home DIY and some Polish beer left on the worktop (Tyskie), I've ventured out and bought some Tyskie & Lech to quench my thirst in about 6 hours. Post your favourites in order for us all (or just me) to go out and sample your favourite brew!! I'll start 'Old Speckled Hen' - Pale Ale

Both awesome beers. Hard to pick a fav. My mood changes it. If I am eating something with it changes it. If I am already buzzed changes it. Beer is meant for the situation with all the different, wonderful flavors out there. Right now I am drinking some snake bites : harps lager and your favorite dry cider. My slumming beer is Sam Adams Boston Lager. I have made and or drank most different types of beer styles; either commercial or homebrewed. Definitely gotta love the belgians or belgain styles though. Not big fan of the belgian white ales but if the time, place and beer is right, then so be it. I mean if I am in the right place I even enjoy a good ol' traditional Miller High life. Yeah, I know, not a lot of flavor but if it's hot and that is what is there it can be quite good. Carpe Brewski

Right at this very moment(just after bottling 60 bottles of wine)i am ripping into a few bottles of Innes and Gunn Edinburgh Ale http://www.innisandgunn.com/ ,and i got to tell you ,its awesome .as Airguy says ,my mood dictates what beer i,m drinking .although i have been drinking a lot of clammy pints recently (pint of any lager, but not labatts , topped off with clamato juice) must be all the dust from moving

I enjoy Michelob Light or Sam Adams Light depending which one I see in the store first. I've recently discovered Dead Guy Ale by Rogue Brewing Co out of Oregon, tasty and delicious! Its alittle darker than I usually drink, but not heavy like you would expect from a microbrew.

I'm a great fan of witbier or weissbier... i like the sweetness and the earthy undertones of it. I'm not one for thinking there is a beer dependant on mood, I'll guzzle anything beerwise, as long as it's not light beer. My favourite Belgian beer has to be Leffe as I visited belium just recently... photo to come yeh, my son had been at some sugary hypo candy!!

Good beer (and we have a lot of great beer here) is about one of the only really good things about Oregon.

Old Speckled Hen ROCKS. Light beer, even Sam Adams light SUX! If I want watered down beer I will put my own dang ice in it!
Yep, hefeweissen rocks. Great summer beer, let alone all around good flavor: Hacker Pschorr, Fankenstephen or somehting like that( we call it Frankensteiner), etc., etc. ...

OMG, too many choices!!! Here are my usual suspects:
1. Tetley's English Ale (really smooth and creamy) 2. Victory Golden Monkey (sneaks up on ya fast and disconnects the legs from your nervous system!) 3. Murphy's Stout (for the days when a dark beer is needed!)
Man, This type of thinking has gotten me thirsty now!

Yuengling. Or Strohs. Strohs light, even. I used to like Kohler, sometimes Pabst Blue Ribbon, but they don't sell it around here anymore. Pabst bought out Strohs a few years ago... odd. I'll buy some Yuengling Black and Tan for the holidays, that's some tasty stuff. I'm no connoisseur. I drink what I like that doesn't leave me retching the next day...

Newcastle Brown Ale!!! Acudoonabroon! Recently I had a chance to try 2 new Anheiser-Busch beers. Anybody heard of Tarpon Lager? How about Bare Knuckles Stout? Both pretty good. Of course, someone else was buying, and doesn't that make the beer taste just a little bit better?

Well all, finally a subject I have researched heavily! My favorites include but are not limited to Fat Tire, Sunshine Wheat (also from New Belgium Brewery), Paulaner makes an Oktoberfest that is very good also. I can't lie either though, I'll drink Bud Light all day if it's in front of me. Depends why I'm drinking as to what beer it's going to be.

When $$: Boddington's
When no $$: Coors Light
Thinking about switching to Coors Original though; 1% more alcohol, same price. I'm all about a bargain.
