And because they pull so hard in the upper end of the power band, I keep hitting the limiter also. These engines should have the limiter set for at least another 1000 rpms higher. The engine wants to be reved, with a very short stroke and big bore, double overhead cams and 4 valves per cylinder another few rpms would never hurt it.
