It sounds like you're gonna have this ol girl straitened out pretty soon. Is it still in the plan to have your woman ride it? Careful Dave, if she has her own bike, what's she gonna need you for!?

What will she need me for? Well, the bikes not a Harley, so it doesn't have much vibration

Seriously though, the other day I gave her a lesson on shifting gears, with the bike on the center stand so she won't fall off. She's never used a clutch of any sort, and since motorcycling requires 2 hands and 2 feet, it's a little overwhelming at first. I'm sure everyone here can relate.

I can't believe she's really going to learn to ride that thing, Dave. Next thing you know, she'll be wanting to go out on the group rides too and that will lead to a ANOTHER bike so she can TRY and keep up and then she'll start accessorizing the bike to match her jewelry and her outfits and...

That would stomp out any future east side trips...

Hey Chris, my sister came over and took it around the block over the weekend. Well, I told her she could go around the block, and she was gone for about 20 minutes! I heard some sirens and thought maybe she dumped it, but she came back a few minutes later all smiles. That was the first time she has ridden in a couple years. I told her it was kick start only, boy was she mad when she came back and I hit the starter button to get it in the driveway!

Geez, I wish I had a little sister I could torment. But I do have a wife, and she'll do!

Rich, I showed my sister the Royal Enfield Bullet Classic, now she's looking everywhere for one. She used to have a Yamaha Virago 250, the Bullet would be a nice upgrade.

BTW, I got my front brakes on the Scrambler working!

Dave, it's not down the street from you but these guys are pretty nice and have some in stock.

Eldorado Cycle

My brother lives on Truman Lake down that way and I always try to stop in when I visit him on fishing trips.
