The most successful move ended up being the razor blade. Tried it this morning with great success and no damage to the chrome. It was like scraping paint off a mirror. Took me about four minutes to get it all off (I'm sure that the Easy Off and Acetone loosened it up though ). Thanks for all the suggestions!
