Thanks for the info, I think I have some Easy Off oven spray somewhere around here and will try it tonight after work. I had a stain on one of my pipes years ago and tried the Easy Off then, but I think the problem was that I didn't leave it on quite long enough. Anyway, I'll try leaving it on for a while before wiping it off, and if that doesn't work I'll go with the acetone. Appreciate all the response, nothin' sucks more than screwing up your new bike!
