I lost my wife of 35 years almost as suddenly in Feb 06 so I thought I would have something meaningful to say - but I don't.
I do know that you will feel sad about many things, guilty about some things and very angry about almost everything.
Remember the good times and cherish the memories of your times together. You have experienced the love, friendship and companionship of a lovely person, something that so many people never know.
Remember, while you are a member of this 'club' you will never be at a loss for friends.
My thoughts are with you.

Tom, I am so incredibly sorry. Two years ago I lost my wife of 32 years very suddenly in a car wreak. Just a quarter mile from our driveway. I can totally relate to what you are going through. Just got back in town and read this - shocked , I'm SO sorry , I can't imagine how you feel and I WON'T say I KNOW how you feel , experientially , I DON'T know . I too know the burning pain of great loss , but a spouse is different . I think that it's interesting that you would come here to find solace , that's a good indictment of the comeraderie found here . Pain will eventually diminish , memories will not , hold on to them . All that I have to offer is sincere condolence , prayer , and a listening ear . Wade and Derinda .
