Long day - but it's home. Didn't have any problems with either bike in the back of the truck. I was supposed to get floor boards, but Triumph sent two right ones, and said that they will be there with FedEx. Waited a few hours, and they didn't come in. They are going to ship them to me. The word is that a lady at the Triumph main office said that they are going to "make it right". I hope they come through in a big way - I drove 4 hours up, waited around 4 hours for the floorboards which were not actually shiped, and 4 hours back. I only got 3 miles on the bike!

On the other hand, the 3 miles were great, and the long slash pipes have a very unique sound - I like it. AND the guys at MCC in Villa Park, IL are great. I recommend them, and will HIGHLY recommend them if they help out on making it up. I look forward to updating on the situation, and on the bike. I think I should snap some pics for that calendar that I read about

A hearty Pacific NW Congratulations (even if I am on the road waaaaay on the far side of the world!). I got my 2007 TBA (my first real bike) this past July and have over 2200 miles on her already. They are great machines, fun to ride and so beautiful to look at. This weekend, make sure you sit down, with a cold six-pack, and spend some time admiring her up close.
Enjoy the heck out of her. Too bad winter is on it's way.

Thanks everyone! I have 8 miles now! I got the blue/white one. I posted pics of the bike in the pic section before I picked it up. Hopefully I am going to snap a few more today after work. So far it's great. I'm also very glad I found this place. Makes me feel better knowing there is a group of people to come to for questions, advice, etc. Thanks.

Congratulations John, you can bet that when they receive the boards they will have sent a pair instead of just sending two left one to make two pairs.

Enjoy the feel of it.. Oh and post some pics

The bank still owns one of mine... they just don't know which one!

You'll love the boards when they finally arrive.

Have fun.

Gina 03 America - Pretty stock - except the TBS wheel... 06 America - missing, presumed in bits. With it's TBS wheel... 09 America - It's very blue....
